What would a crisp, fresh salad be without the flavour of fine vinegar? There is almost no limit to the varieties, because vinegar can be made from all fermentable fruits, vegetables and grains. The Gailtal Valley farmers have some exquisite creations available. In addition to the classic vinegar made from apples and, if desired, refined with honey, vinegar connoisseurs can also choose from varieties made from quince, currants, plum and even spruce tips. Mind you, vinegar is a healthy, tasty and, above all, natural food.
