By car from Western Austria and Germany

A10 Tauernautobahn (Tauern motorway) via Tauern and Katschberg tunnel (toll) to exit Feistritz/ Drau, continue in direction Hermagor via Windische Höhe, through Hermagor ... continue as above.

alternatively, continue on the A10 to Villach junction, continue on the A2 Südautobahn (southern motorway) in direction Italy, exit Hermagor/Gailtal to Hermagor ... continue as above,
