The original, local culinary specialities are especially valued here. The multi-award winning products „Gailtal Valley Bacon“, „Gailtal Valley Alpine Cheese“ or „Gailtal Valley Smoked Salmon“ can be purchased and sampled all across the region.
Guided bacon tours and tours of the salmon smokehouse are free of charge in connection with the +Card, you also pay around EUR 5,- to EUR 7,- less on special bacon and salmon menus.
Tasty, aromatic alpine cheese, tender bacon from the smokehouses, Gailtal Valley Smoked Salmon and delicious polenta: the production of these culinary delicacies is based on old farming traditions.
