By car from Eastern Austria

A2 southern motorway until exit Hermagor / Gailtal, continue towards Hermagor and Kötschach-Mauthen, turnoff Nassfeld, follow Nassfeld federal highway until Nassfeld (distance from Vienna - Nassfeld: 420 km)   

By car from Western Austria and Germany

A10 Tauern motorway via Tauern and Katschberg Tunnel (toll) up to exit Feistritz/ Drau, continue in direction Hermagor via the Windische Höhe, through Hermagor ... and continue as described above.

or:

alternatively, use the A10, then towards junction Villach, continue on the A2 southern motorway in direction Italy, exit Hermagor/Gailtal towards Hermagor ... continue as described above,

or motorway via Rosenheim, Kufstein (A12 Inntal motorway, exit Kufstein South), Felbertauern Tunnel (toll) towards Lienz, Gailbergsattel, Kötschach-Mauthen, in direction Hermagor until turnoff Nassfeld ... continues as described above (distance from Munich - Nassfeld: 298 km)

By car from Italy

Motorway until Udine and then direction Austria, exit Pontebba, through Pontebba via the Italian pass road to the Nassfeld (Passo di Pramollo) (distance from Udine - Nassfeld: 85 km)
