Gailtal Valley Alpine Path
The Gailtal Valley Alps stretch around 90 km from Kartitsch in Eastern Tyrol to the Windischen Höhe, between the Carnic Alps to the south and the Drautal Valley in the north. The Gailtal Valley Alpine Path runs along the ridge and is considered as insider tip amongst hiking enthusiasts.
Even though not as well developed as the parallel-running Carnic Alpine Path in the Carnic Alps, offers this mountain range an amazing variety of nature's beauty, an untouched landscape and quiet summits.
