TOP Events at Nassfeld

''The world's longest ski race'' The race leads through four mountain valleys across the entire skiing area of Nassfeld. Downhill runs and lift rides are included. Various direction posts on closed off, secure routes must be crossed. The length of the route is 28 km and reaches 6.400 metres in altitude. Starting point is the Gartenknofel upper terminal and the finishing line is in Tröpolach. Groups of 20 participants each will start.

S'cool Ski & Board is an exceptional ski school course concept that has been established for many years. The Splashline company, a division of the TUI Group, hosts the event already for the sixth time.

The beekeepers of the Honey Association Hermagor in Carinthia's largest skiing area will ''swarm out'' on this day. The beekeepers and the ''sweet'' little bees will treat the guests in the skiing area to little gifts of honey and some ''honeybee energy''.

Nassfeld gets the Samba Fever during this event. Cuban dancers and Cuba Libre raise the temperature at the traditional ''Festa de Cuba''. The celebrations start at the Tröglplatz/Schneemann-Bar at 11 am and promise to be a ''hot'' party with Latin American rhythms. A Cuban barman will mix exotic drinks like Caipirinha and Cuba Libre for the sun-skiers whilst Cuban dancers will heat up the atmosphere with their Samba performances. For one day Nassfeld turns into an ''Arena de Cuba'' - the biggest outdoor-party Carinthia's.
