Buzzing like a beehive, this is how Hermagor presents itself at the Austrian Honey Festival at the third weekend in August. Freshly extracted honey, with honey refined delicacies, beehive display, an exhibition of historic beekeeper tools.

The 'Gitschtal Valley Cabbage Festival' is celebrated every first Sunday in October. Visitors from near and far away come to the friendly town of Weißbriach to taste cabbage pizza, cabbage pasta and cabbage strudel and to admire the rustic 'Cabbage Scarecrows'.
