Gartnerkofel

Il Gartnerkofel è una delle tre cime montuose caratteristiche del Carinziano Nassfeld ed è un bel percorso per tutta la famiglia. Partendo dalla stazione a monte della seggiovia Gartnerkofel, l'escursione al Gartnerkofel è una facile salita alla vetta. L'ascesa avviene con una pendenza piacevole e regolare, in parte lungo le piste dell'area sciistica. L'ultimo tratto fino alla croce in vetta richiede un po' di allenamento e assenza di vertigini. Tuttavia, lungo tutto il percorso non ci sono punti veramente esposti.

In alternativa, si può partire anche dal confine di stato al Passo di Nassfeld o dalla malga Watschiger.

Suggerimento

Assicurati di dare un'occhiata alla valle dal Thörl, prima dell'ultima salita verso la vetta: i passi extra valgono la pena! Consigliata anche: l'escursione all'alba sul Gartnerkofel (ID percorso 11807364)!

In auto, segui la B99 "Nassfeldpassstraße" fino alla stazione a valle della seggiovia Gartnerkofel oppure in alternativa con il Millennium-Express fino alla malga Tressdorfer e con il Piccolo-Express fino alla seggiovia Gartnerkofel. Salita con la seggiovia Gartnerkofel, in alternativa partenza dell'escursione dalla stazione a valle della seggiovia Gartnerkofel.

There are three possible starting points for the hike to the Gartnerkofel:

1. state border on the Nassfeldpass

2nd Watschiger Alm (Wulfenia occurrence, flowering period May-June)

3. top station Gartnerkofel chairlift (described below)

Ascension:

Take the Gartnerkofel chairlift to 1,900 m above sea level. Here you will find wonderful hiking trails and a magnificent view of the surrounding mountains and the neighbouring Julian Alps. From here you can easily reach the summit of the Gartnerkofel in 40 minutes walking time. The easy and well-marked hiking trail initially leads over part of the FIS downhill run to the top station of the FIS lift. From here it goes slightly right into the Gartnerkofel massif. On the left summit you can see the summit cross in good visibility. Follow the marked path to the Thörl, from where there is a magnificent view of the Gailtal, Hermagor and Lake Pressegger. Now turn left, the last ascent follows, which leads in serpentines to the summit. This stretch demands a last time a good amount of fitness, but it is worth it: because at the summit cross there is a fantastic panoramic view and a worthwhile rest.

The descent is the same as the ascent.

After the descent the buffet "Zur Berghex", the Watschiger Alm as well as the Alpenhof Plattner tempt you to stop for a break.
