Animal welfare and plenty of fresh air for the best milk. Ten dairy cows share around 10 ha of natural, lush, and species-rich mountain meadows. With the diverse grasses, mountain herbs, and meadow flowers, they form the most important source of feed for the cows, where the animals can optimally express their species-specific behavior. Sufficient movement, fragrant mountain air, light, sun, and fresh grass at 1100 m above sea level guarantee the highest milk quality in this organic animal husbandry. The production of the organic meadow milk becomes visible during the different vegetation periods in summer, from the first hay harvest in June to grazing in the autumn. Visitors experience the taste of the high-quality, nutrient-rich, and full-bodied milk during a barefoot walk across the mountain meadows and a subsequent tasting of homemade organic meadow milk specialties.
