Summer Mountain railways

Buddy says:

  • Cabins are ventilated during the ride
  • masks are mandatory in enclosed lifts (cabins or chairlifts with closable cover)
  • Floor markings in queuing areas

Staff are specially trained to:

  • Prevent crowding
  • Ensure a smooth and calm process
  • Communicate clearly and consistently with guests
  • To intervene in a regulatory capacity if necessary

Buddy says:
No, there is no more minimum distance of one metres at the lifts.

Buddy says:

The same rules as on public transport apply in cabins and on lifts of the mountain railways: A mask must be worn for the entire duration of the ride. A mask must also be worn when queuing for the chairlift.

Buddy says:
All cable cars are ventilated as best as possible during the journey. The Millennium Express (3 sections from Tröpolach) automatically opens the doors for good ventilation when moving through the two intermediate termini.

Buddy says:
Disinfectant dispensers are available in the cash desk area, in the lift buildings and in the toilet facilities.

Buddy says:
We pay attention to a high standard of hygiene and ask our guests to do the same. For this reason, there are hand disinfection facilities, distance markers as well as information signs with the safety measures to be observed. There will be relevant announcements in the cabins.

Buddy says:
All cable cars are considered public transport (such as buses, trains or the underground). They are therefore subject to the same provisions for Covid19. The currently valid regulation of the authorities on "COVID19" for public transport can be found under the following. Here you can find the regulations.

Buddy says:
The protection of our employees is very important to us. Wherever there is direct contact with guests, the employees must wear mouth-nose protection or are protected by acrylic glass panes. Special training measures are carried out and are ongoing and repeated in case of changes. Regular testing of employees is planned.

Buddy says:
Each cable car company has a corona manager(s) responsible for planning and implementation.

However, Nassfeld offers a special service with its own "Nassfeld Buddys". These can be found in the ski resort wherever questions arise or where there is a need for information. Get ready to be surprised!
