For three generations, the valuable natural product honey has been harvested. In addition to meeting high quality standards, the preservation of the Carinthian bee breed, the "Carnica," is particularly important to us. The typical "Lesachtal bee honey" is a mountain wildflower honey that combines the flavors of so-called "forage plants" from a year - e.g., dandelion, raspberry, or in some years, the alpine rose. Taste and appearance vary depending on the vegetation course from year to year. The color ranges from light yellow to amber. This honey is highly appreciated by visitors to the valley as well as by the local population for its mild, pleasant taste and its fine creamy
