In the upper Gailtal, Günther Peturnig has been managing between 15 and 40 bee colonies since 2007. In 2018, he passed the skilled worker examination in beekeeping and converted the apiary to organic farming methods.
Together with his wife, they process, refine, and market bee products such as: forest honey, propolis drops, honey liqueur, mead, and bee bread.
