As a native of Gailtal, it is a pleasure for me to accompany you through the history of the valley. As a commercial tourist guide, political scientist, author, columnist, curator, hobby historian with a soft spot for the border triangle of Carinthia, Italy and Slovenia, chairman of the association "Remember Gailtal" and publisher of the "Gailtaler Zeitbilder", it is my passion to convey history and stories from this beautiful region. Equipped with an archive of old pictures and a regional library, I always set out anew to shed light on long gone times of the Gailtal and its district capital Hermagor.
