OPTIMAL CONDITIONS FOR GENTLE WINTER SPORTS AT GOLDECK
The Goldeck panoramic road is open from 12.12.2025 – operational hours (daily from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM) up to the "Seetal" parking lot exclusively accessible with winter equipment.
A designated path prepared by the Goldeck cable cars for tobogganists, ski tourers, snowshoers, and walkers offers relaxation in a wonderful winter landscape.
Starting from Seetal, one can reach the summit on foot (approximately 1 hour walking time). Here, you will be rewarded with unique views and can then enjoy delicious Carinthian delicacies in one of the popular huts.
The huts are operated by the Innerwinkler family – Mosthütte and Wieserhütte, by the Goldeck cable cars – the Seehütte Goldeck next to the mountain station 1 at the storage lake, as well as by the Haider family at the Panoramahütte near the summit.
Goldeck offers the viewer a breathtaking panorama. Those who bring a sled on their winter hike can look forward to a fun descent.
