The Goldeck panoramic road, with a length of 14.5 km, leads from Zlan to the Goldeck end parking lot "Seetal" at an altitude of 1,895 m. Ten hairpin bends and the parking lots along the road provide breathtaking views of the Millstätter Alpe and Millstätter See, the Nockberge, the Gailtal Alps, the Karawanken, and the Drautal down to Villach. In the distance, the peaks of the Julian and Carnic Alps can be spotted. Due to its magnificent views, the Goldeck panoramic road is considered one of the most beautiful excursion destinations in Carinthia.
Upon arriving at the Seetal parking lot, numerous hiking trails are available in the summer, and in winter, there are toboggan runs and touring trails to choose from.
Culinary delights are offered at the Gasthaus Sonnenhof in Hochegg and the Wieserhütte in Seetal, as well as the Panoramaalm in winter. In summer, you can also recharge at numerous huts like the Mähderhütte, the Gusenhütte, and the Kapelleralm hut with delicious culinary treats.
