In 1993, the burial mounds at "Schmeißer Boden" were archaeologically explored by Dr. Paul Gleirscher from the Carinthian State Museum. Subsequently, a viewing grave was constructed.
After its destruction in the winter of 2008/09, Dr. Peter Gamper developed a concept for the reconstruction of the burial mounds.
The result is worth seeing.

The area is accessible year-round. You can reach the area on foot via the mountain road to Gurina or along the hiking trail.
