Honey from the Flaschberger Family
in St. Stefan im Gailtal
Since 2001, we have been running our beekeeping business in the Gailtal. We manage our bee colonies at 3 different locations. In addition to blossom honey, we also harvest Gailtaler forest honey and produce many other healthy products from the bee colony.
New in our product range is our sour honey, the "Oxymel," which can be consumed both as a refreshing drink and as a natural remedy.
We have our bee stands in the Lower Gailtal in the municipality of St. Stefan. We consider ourselves lucky that the ecosystem here is still fully intact. To provide the bees with a special mix of flowering plants and honeydew producers, we move the bee colonies to the alpine pastures in summer.
