Welcome to the Reisach Jochalm!
36 milking cows graze on the Jochalm on the sunny side directly below the characteristic Reißkofel at an altitude of 1,554 m in the Gailtal Alps. From their fresh milk, Gailtaler Almkäse g.U., Schotten, and Almbutter are produced daily. We look forward to welcoming you to the Jochalm with a hearty snack and one of the most beautiful views of the Gailtal.
The Reisach Joch Alm invites you to:
- One of the most beautiful views over the Gailtal
- Starting point for hikes to the Reißkofel
- The Reisacher Joch is also accessible on foot via the Buchensteig from the Rinse above the Reißkofelbad
- Highest point of the mountain bike round trail
- Mountain bike and running trail to the Jochalm with benchmark times from the best athletes in the valley. How fast are you?
- All dairy products, bacon, and sausages are of course homemade
You can reach the Reisach Joch Alm either via Reisach or Grafendorf along a well-maintained gravel road
(access possible with minibuses).
