The Madritschenbahn leads directly from Sonnenalpe Nassfeld to the Madritsche. It begins in the middle of the Sonnenalpe center and operates in the summer and winter.
As a transport option for day visitors, the Madritschenbahn is rather unsuitable—there are relatively few parking spaces available. In summer, the Millennium Express from Tröpolach should be used.
In summer, there is the summer toboggan run Pendolino at the mountain station. In winter, the lift mainly accesses intermediate slopes for repeat riders.
