The Bischof farm has been run by the Warmuth family in the ninth generation since 1743. Besides Josef and Barbara, their children Thomas, Franziska, and Antonia are also involved in managing the traditional farm. From the milk processing at the Lower Bischofalm comes the Gailtaler Almkäse, smoked Almschotten, and fresh Almbutter. Josef and his assistants get up early every day to milk the cows and process the milk. Hikers passing by can truly enjoy the high-quality food in the mobile-free mountain world. The alpine products are also available for take-away in the farm shop.
