At the foot of the Gartnerkofel lies the Watschiger Alm, surrounded by the peaks of the Carnic Alps. One of the most beautiful places to savor the morning and noon sun on the terrace and take a well-deserved break after the first mountain kilometers. The panorama will enchant you. Especially between early June and mid-July, a trip to this alpine hut is worthwhile. At this time, the Wulfenia blooms right by the alpine hut and transforms the meadows into a colorful sea of flowers.
