The mountain bike route Weissbriach – Alte Kreuzbergstraße requires good fitness and endurance.
Suggestion
After the bike ride, take a refreshing cooldown in the Gitschtal adventure swimming pool.

  • Helmet mandatory!!!!!!!
  • Proper clothing: Adjust your clothing not only to the current weather conditions. Also pack warm clothing, a spare jersey, and rain protection even in summer, especially in the pre- and post-season.

  • WARNING: Reception is not guaranteed everywhere in the mountains!
  • Take enough to drink with you and plan a stop in good time

  • Tauernautobahn – Spittal junction - direction Lienz - Greifenburg - over the Kreuzberg – Weissbriach
  • Salzburg - Badgastein (train loading Tauern tunnel) - Mallnitz - Möllbrücke - Greifenburg - over the Kreuzberg – Weissbriach

From the west (CH, F):

  • Felbertauern - Mittersill - Lienz - Greifenburg - over the Kreuzberg - Weissbriach

From the south (I, SLO):

  • Udine - Hermagor/Gailtal exit - Hermagor - Weissbriach
  • Karawanken motorway - Villach junction - towards Italy - Hermagor/Gailtal exit - Hermagor - Weissbriach

From the east (SLO, HR):

  • Klagenfurt – Villach - Hermagor/Gailtal exit - Hermagor - Weissbriach
