WW_N2 Waisacher Alm

The first part of the route leads along the Gössering educational trail, with display panels, ruins, and Kneipp facilities. After the Ruinenbründl, a forest road continues to the Waisacher Alm - path no. 10/10a according to the Gitschtal hiking map.

From the north (D, NL, DK):

- Tauern motorway – Spittal junction - direction Lienz - Greifenburg - over the Kreuzberg – Weißbriach

- Salzburg - Bad Gastein (train ferry Tauern lock) - Mallnitz - Möllbrücke - Greifenburg - over the Kreuzberg – Weißbriach

From the west (CH, F):

- Felbertauern - Mittersill - Lienz - Greifenburg - over the Kreuzberg - Weißbriach

From the south (I, SLO):

- Udine - Hermagor/Gailtal exit - Hermagor - Weißbriach

- Karawanken motorway - Villach junction - towards Italy - Hermagor/Gailtal exit - Hermagor - Weißbriach

From the east (SLO, HR):

- Klagenfurt – Villach - Hermagor/Gailtal exit - Hermagor - Weißbriach

By plane

Directions

Nach dem Gemeindeamt in Weißbriach, noch vor der Brücke links amBach entlang bis zum Gösseringgraben, an den alten Ruinen vorbei zur Ruine „großen Hammer“. Von hier gibt es zwei Möglichkeiten, um zur Waisacher Alm (bewirtschaftet) zu gelangen.

Variante 1: "Tuffweg" - über den Steig 10a auf den Plattenweg (9) und weiter zur Waisacher Alm.

Variante 2: dem Forstweg folgen, über Pfarreben oder über den Fahrweg (238) zur Waisacher Alm.
