Skiing with a unique view

Besides perfectly groomed pistes, modern lift facilities and almost absolute snow-reliability, the ski resort Nassfeld in Carinthia delights with a stunning mountain panorama as far as the eye can see. You can ski and enjoy the extensive view in up to 2.020 metres above sea level.

Snow? Sure!

Carinthia’s Nassfeld is known as a real snow-hole. Thanks to its climatically favourable location enjoys the largest ski resort in the Southern Alps regular Adriatic and Mediterranean lows high in precipitation which frequently discharge their full load right onto the Carnic main ridge.

Thus the skiing pleasure is not limited to the 110 km of skiing pistes only. Winter sports enthusiasts can look forward to glistening deep snow slopes and multi-variant freeride downhill runs. In case that old Mother Hulda is a bit forgetful, there is an area-covering network of high-tech devices which provide artificial snow on all pistes.

Skiing where the sun shines

Skiers can look forward to a plus on sunshine hours. Compared to ski resorts in the Northern Alps, the sun shines here up to 100 hours more during the winter season. Using a particular route, it is possible to ski on sunny pistes all day long.

The largest sun terrace in the Alps

When the days get longer and the sun shines stronger then starts the fifth season at Nassfeld. Groomed pistes covered in firn snow, delicacies at Austrian and Italian ski Huts & restaurants, entertainment, countless sun loungers and plenty of sunshine: Sun skiing pure.
