Sledging runs in the Nassfeld-Pressegger See region

Ready, steady, and go! Lift your legs and hold on tight as you swoosh down the mountain, curve by curve! Six different sledging runs are available to winter fans in the Nassfeld-Pressegger See region. Always accompanying you on your speedy descent: the stunning mountain scenery of the Carnic and Gailtal Alps!

And then all that matters is: Taking a deep breath of fresh mountain air, pulling your beanie over your ears, and dashing downhill!

Sledging run in Rattendorf

The Rattendorf run spans a total of two kilometres, and it only takes you about 30 minutes on foot to get to its starting point. Via several hairpin bends, this floodlit sledging run leads from the Almweg (pasture trail) down to the valley. Nighttime sledging fans can swoosh down its glistening snow carpet until 22:00.

Shuttle service up Guggenberg

When the treetops sparkle in the moonlight and silence engulfs the region – that’s when all the action starts on Guggenberg in Hermagor. Sledging enthusiasts can also take a break at Hauserhof or at the Waldemar. Warm up, refuel, and you’ll be all set to swoosh down the mountain again giggling with joy!

“Berggeist” sledging run in Weissbriach

Your face lightly dusted with snow, the tip of your nose a radiant red, and a wide smile from ear to ear: In Weissbriach, winter fans can look forward to a beautiful three-kilometre sledging run. And what’s the icing on the cake of every sledging excursion? An evening at a rustic hut at Berggeisthütte – before dashing down into the valley again.

  • Length: 3 km
  • Opening hours: Monday to Thursday until 17:00, Friday and Saturday until 22:00, Sunday until 21:00
  • Rental sledges: at Berggeisthütte (Thursday to Sunday from 16:00), phone: +43 (0) 4286 228; rental fee: EUR 6.00
  • Shuttle service: snowcat ride up to Berggeisthütte for EUR 5.00 per person
  • Evenings at the hut: reservations required

Lightning fast: Sledging on Gailberghöhe

A two-kilometre run leads you from Gailbergsattel to Kötschach-Mauthen, the tasty corner of Carinthia. You can find the starting point of this run at Hotel Gailberghöhe, and then it’s time to lift your legs off the ground and swoosh down the mountain!

Sledging run in Kreuth ob Jenig

The run in Kreuth ob Jenig is two kilometres long and located opposite to Rattendorf. On the agenda? Speedy sledging fun in a glittery winter landscape with your family or friends!

sledging Run tröpolach

400 racy and incredibly entertaining metres downhill directly in Tröpolach. The toboggan run promises fun and enjoyment for the whole family. Simply rent a toboggan, trudge through the snow and off you go. The toboggan run is also illuminated daily.
