ACCESS: From the car park (1621 m), head south on the good path 414, at 1725 m turn right over a bridge. At approx. 1860 m descend slightly to 1035 m and shortly afterwards (1890 m) keep left, the normal route continues to the right. The border ridge (path 403) is reached at approx. 1985 m. We turn right to the west, 1/4 hour up and down a little and leave the path on the right at 1960 m and are immediately at the start (~1975 m), which begins just above the hiking trail. The "Crete Rosse" ferrata is short, difficulty A-C and original. After 100 metres of climbing we reach the exit, the plateau and the summit of the Trogkofel 2,280 m. 730 metres of ascent and a brisk 1 1/2 hour walk.

TRANSITION: We climb back along the ascent path to Grenzkammweg 403 (1960 m) and follow it to the left. Past where we have reached it, always a little up and down to the Rudnigsattel at 1945 metres. Here we can follow the marked path and ascend to the Rosskofel 2,240 m. On the ascent path back to a saddle at 2113 m, where we can climb without a path to the western summit (2133 m). 470 metres of ascent and 1 3/4 hours from the Trogkofel.

DESCENT: Back towards the saddle, where we reach the marked path at 2090 m. Now descend to Rudnigsattel 1945 m and descend on the piste to the visible Rudnigalm 1621 m. < 3/4 hours.
