Panorama hiking

Mountain adventure with a far-reaching view to the lake and the Italian Adriatic Sea

Simply immerse yourself - not only in Lake Pressegger See, with temperatures of up to 28° C, but also in the Carinthian mountains on the sunny southern side of the Alps.

In the Carnic Alps and Gailtal Alps, there are surprisingly many inspirations for diverse and fascinating panorama hikes. 25 themed trails such as the "Via dolce vita" or the culinary tour on Italian and Austrian terrain bear witness to the unique location in the Alpine-Adriatic region. Four long-distance hiking routes, such as the Carnic High Route, lead past numerous mountain lakes or provide a view of Lake Pressegger See - and on a clear day even of the upper Adriatic. By the way, three mountain railways are available on the Nassfeld for an effortless ascent. Enjoy regional delicacies from local farmers at one of the 46 alpine huts, hike through the impressive reed belt on the new Slow Trail at Lake Pressegger See, or ... Get ready to be surprised!
