Fed by fresh spring water, Pressegger See is Europe's cleanest lake and the ideal place for a family day out.

In fact, the lake is not only one of the cleanest but also one of the warmest in Carinthia. Pressegger See lies in the heart of Austria's second-largest reed belt and is known by locals as the "bathtub of the Gailtal Valley" thanks to its summer temperatures of up to 28°C and excellent water quality.

Guests looking for an adrenaline kick can try their hand at whitewater rafting on the Gail river as well as canyoning in a number of nearby locations.
