The Pressegger See near Hermagor – nestling between the snowy peaks of the Carnic and Gailtal Alps – is one of the first lakes in Carinthia to freeze over in winter, making it a popular ice rink for skaters of all ages and abilities. Skates can be hired on site.

Pressegger See lake

A 2.5 km circuit awaits skaters at Pressegger See lake. Skate hire and changing facilities are available at the Strandbad Hermagor, the starting point for the prepared rink. There is also the option of playing traditional curling and ice hockey on the frozen lake. A walking trail leads along the shoreline.
