Ranger on Site - In Search of Forest Glass
Our Nature Park Ranger provides information and answers your questions on-site at the archaeological excavation site of an old glass furnace covering 255 years of history, a relic from an era of the rise and fall of glass production. The Nature Park Ranger also informs about the unique flora & fauna of the nature park, the habitats, and the protection of the landscape.
Immerse yourself in the long-forgotten world of glassmakers and learn more about the origin and life surrounding "forest glass."

Location: Tscherniheim (near Hermagor Bodenalm)
