Mountain railways

Buddy says:

The wearing of a FFP2 - protective mask is mandatory in the correspondingly marked areas:

  • in closed rooms, ticket office, entry/exit areas as well as during the ride on the cable cars and lifts (except surface lifts)
  • when using WC facilities
  • The wearing of an FFP2 mask is obligatory for persons over 14 years of age. Up to the age of 14, a tight-fitting mouth-nose protection (e.g. a tube scarf) is sufficient; up to the age of 6, there is no obligation to wear a mask.

If you do not have an appropriate mouth-nose protection, it can be purchased at the cashier's office for a contribution towards expenses of EUR 1,-.

Buddy says:
It is not necessary to wear mouth-nose protection on the piste. On cold days, however, wearing the multi-purpose or BUFF scarf is considered quite comfortable.

Buddy says:
If necessary to equalize customer flows, the ski area opens earlier. e.g. Millennium Express from 8:00 a.m., all other mountain railways and lifts at 8:30 a.m. You can find the current opening times at www.nassfeld.at/en/lifte

Buddy says:
All cable cars are ventilated as best as possible during the journey. The Millennium Express (3 sections from Tröpolach) automatically opens the doors for good ventilation when moving through the two intermediate termini.

Buddy says:
In principle, ski gloves already offer a certain degree of protection. Nevertheless, all cabins and buildings are regularly disinfected with cold foggers. The active ingredient leaves no residue, is non-toxic, pH-neutral, skin- and eye-friendly and is 100% biodegradable. Within one minute, it eliminates 99.9% of viruses, bacteria and spores on the treated surfaces.

Buddy says:
Disinfectant dispensers are available in the cash desk area, in the lift buildings and in the toilet facilities.

Buddy says:

For exact conditions see www.nassfeld.at/en/covid19-guarantee

Buddy says:
We pay attention to a high standard of hygiene and ask our guests to do the same. For this reason, there are hand disinfection facilities, distance markers as well as information signs with the safety measures to be observed. There will be relevant announcements in the cabins.

Buddy says:
All cable cars are considered public transport (such as buses, trains or the underground). They are therefore subject to the same provisions for Covid19. The currently valid regulation of the authorities on "COVID19" for public transport can be found under the following. Here you can find the regulations.

Buddy says:

The protection of our employees is very important to us. Wherever there is direct contact with guests, employees must wear mouth and nose protection or are protected by Plexiglas. Special training measures are carried out and repeated on an ongoing basis as changes occur.

Our employees with guest contact fulfill the 3G certificate according to the currently valid regulation.

Buddy says:
Each cable car company has a corona manager(s) responsible for planning and implementation.

However, Nassfeld offers a special service with its own "Nassfeld Buddys". These can be found in the ski resort wherever questions arise or where there is a need for information. Get ready to be surprised!
