Mountain guides

Explore Carinthia with a trained guide

Years of experience and excellent knowledge of the mountains make our fully qualified guides the ideal partners for walks, hikes and treks in and around Nassfeld. From route selection and preparation to weather forecasts, leave the planning to the experts and let them show you what makes this region so special.

As well as providing tips on how to stay safe in the mountains, our certified guides will be pleased to give you information about the different peaks and recommend the best huts to rest tired legs over a drink and a snack. Guided hikes are not only the safest way of exploring the mountains but also the best way to learn about the local landscape.

Our guides introduce themselves:

I am a Carinthian mountain hiking and mountain bike guide. Because I love nature and sports, I have turned my hobby into my vocation. I want to show people how beautiful and diverse nature here is. When guests say thank you with shinning eyes on their farewell, then there couldn’t be a better endorsement and I have achieved my goal.

Erni Jank, +43 676 287002

As a Carinthian mountain hiking guide, my objective is to convey our region’s special topics to our guests. Whether geology, settlement history, fauna and flora or on the tracks of WWI at the Carnic front – there are so many things I can convey to visitors from Austria and abroad. For me, a visit to one of our cosy alpine huts and an exchange of views is always a wonderful experience.

Georg Jost, +43 650 / 4455548

I love the mountains as much as I love life: the unforgettable and magic moments, the amazing vistas, insights into nature and looking forward to the next hiking tour.
The trails and mountains I know, the stories behind them and the culinary delights are part of my guided hiking tours. Whether long-distance hiking, on pilgrimage, summit tours or leisure tours, whether in private, in groups, with companies or beginners - I happily accompany you.

Hanni Gratzer, +43 664 73648889

I like to be outdoors and in the mountains of my home. I would like to bring our guests closer to nature, the mountains and the beautiful region I call my home.
