Covering a total surface area of 55 hectares, Pressegger See lake is a haven for anglers.
Lake & fly fishing
Cast off in crystal-clear waters
Fish need clean water, intact nature and plenty of space in order to grow, reproduce and stay healthy. The Nassfeld-Pressegger See fulfils all of these criteria, so it is no surprise that the region's lakes and rivers are full of many different species.
Unfortunately, fly fishing due to the flood in autumn 2018 is not possible!
Heaven for fishing enthusiasts
There are many different species of fish in the lakes and rivers in the Nassfeld-Pressegger See region, including brown trout as well as more challenging fish to catch such as pike and the rare Danube salmon (anglers require a special permit to catch Danube salmon).
