Magic Moments: Pleasure Tour across the Nature Park Weißensee

When the first warming sunrays touch beautiful Weissensee region you’ll meet with the ranger, at 9.30 am. These experts will guide you on a ride by pleasure raft to the inspection of the habitats of bear, lynx, bearded and griffon vulture. This unique programme promises magic moments. You’ll learn more about the animals’ sense for weather conditions, trace and scent analysis and you’ll be able to observe animals – from life in an anthill to birds of prey like peregrine falcons, golden eagles and griffon vultures. You’ll also learn interesting facts about plants and flowers (medicinal and toxic plants, orchids). After about two hours you’ll be picked up by the raft at Paterzipf. On your way back Markus Limarutti (fischart) will pamper you with delicious lake Weissensee fish and good wines.
