Directions
Arrival by car:

From Hermagor via the B111 (Gailtal Road) to Kirchbach - turn there onto the L24 and continue to Goderschach - from here, follow the gravel road to Straniger Alm.

Or from Oberdrauburg via B110 (Plöckenpass Road) to Kötschach-Mauthen and from there continue on the B111 (Gailtal Road) to Dellach - turn there onto the L21 and then continue via the L24 to Gorderschach - from here, follow the gravel road to Straniger Alm.

Public transportation:

The most sustainable way to travel is by train to Oberdrauburg (coming from Lienz or Villach) or to Hermagor (coming from Villach).

From Oberdrauburg or Hermagor, you can then take a bus to the town of Reisach. Here, change to the bus going on to Goderschach, and then continue with the Alm shuttle (phone registration required).

Wanderung am Karnischen Höhenweg 403 in den Grenzsattel zwischen Klein Kordin Alm und Groß Kordin Alm, danach Abzweigung am Weg Nr.419 zum Sattel südlich der Schulterhöhe und am Weg Nr.417 steile Wiesen querend auf den Hochwipfel.
