Arrival by car: From Hermagor via the B111 (Gailtal Road) to Kirchbach - turn there onto the L24 and continue to Goderschach - from here, follow the gravel road to Straniger Alm.
Or from Oberdrauburg via B110 (Plöckenpass Road) to Kötschach-Mauthen and from there continue on the B111 (Gailtal Road) to Dellach - turn there onto the L21 and then continue via the L24 to Gorderschach - from here, follow the gravel road to Straniger Alm.
Public transportation:
The most sustainable way to travel is by train to Oberdrauburg (coming from Lienz or Villach) or to Hermagor (coming from Villach).
From Oberdrauburg or Hermagor, you can then take a bus to the town of Reisach. Here, change to the bus going on to Goderschach, and then continue with the Alm shuttle (phone registration required).
