The mill hiking trail can also be walked in the opposite direction from Kirchbach to Tressdorf.

Directions

Arrival by car:

From Hermagor via the B111 (Gailtal Road) or from Oberdrauburg via the B110 (Plöckenpass Road) to Kötschach-Mauthen and from there continue via the B111 (Gailtal Road) to Kirchbach.

Nach der Besichtigung der evangelischen Kirche und dem Maraschhof (ältester datierter Bauernhof Kärntens) geht es weiter zu den Kesn am Ortsende und zur Treßdorfer Wassermühle. Folgt man dem Staudachbergweg, kommt man dann weiter über die Ortschaft Treßdorf und über den Komitzsteig nach Kirchbach zur Kirchbacher Wassermühle.
