Suggestion

  • Surefootedness and being free from vertigo are absolutely required alongside alpine experience. 

    • The summit ridge is partially very exposed.
  • The ascent or descent to the Reißkofel can also be done via the Compton Hut (GS_N9 or WW_N3)
Directions
Arrival by car:

Coming from Hermagor, drive via the B86 (Gitschtal federal road) to Weißbriach. 

From Greifenburg or Weissensee - via the B87 Weißensee road - to Weißbriach.
