Very beautiful winter hike along the Gail - nestled between the Carnic and Gailtal Alps

Suggestion

From Waidegg, or generally from several places along the route, there is also the possibility to shorten the route and take the bus back to your starting point.
You can also combine the route with the Winter Hike WY_N23 if you want to get to know the town of Tröpolach better.

Directions

Coming from Kötschach-Mauthen or Villach via the B111 (Gailtal federal road) drive to Hermagor and there turn onto the L23 (Eggeralm road) towards Möderndorf.

Ausgangs-/Endpunkt:

Die Route verläuft von der Gailbrücke in Möderndorf ausgehend, in unmittelbarer Nähe der Orte Postran und Watschig, bis zur Gailbrücke in Waidegg. Durch den Ort Rattendorf verläuft die Route abschnittsweise direkt hindurch.

Der Ort Tröpolach ist etwas weiter vom direkten Routenverlauf entfernt, jedoch auch in wenigen Minuten erreichbar.
