Beautiful circular hike through the idyllic Weißenbachklamm - one of the most beautiful gorges in Carinthia

Suggestion

An option would also be to combine the tour with the RW_N14 Radniger Waterfall.
The gorge should be avoided for safety reasons in case of rain.
Freedom from dizziness and surefootedness as well as sturdy shoes with a grippy sole are required.
Interesting tuff formations and special trench vegetation can be admired here.
Secured ladders and walkways make progress easier in the gorge.

Directions

Arrival by car:

Coming from Hermagor, drive via the B86 (Gitschtal federal road) to Jadersdorf.

From Greifenburg or Weissensee - via the B87 Weißensee road - to Weißbriach and then further to Jadersdorf (direction Hermagor).

In Jadersdorf am Dorfbrunnen / Bushaltestelle den Beschilderungen zur Weißenbachklamm folgen - Parkmöglichkeit. An der Infotafel befindet sich der Einstieg in die Weißenbachklamm (Kalk-Tuff-Klamm). In der Klamm erleichtern gesicherte Leitern und Stege das Fortkommen.

Zurück gibt es zwei Varianten:

Weg 19 link über die Geppe zurück nach Jadersdorf (Sonnenhof Jury)

Weg 19a rechts über die Madatsche zurück nach Jadersdof (Parkplatz - Einstieg)
